Awake..........

It's 1 am and I'm awake. Anyway, I registered for classes Saturday and so far my schedule is as follows.

Mon: Survey of U.S History I from 5:30pm to 6:45pm

Tue: Algebra :( from 8am to 9:50am

Tue: English Composition I from 11:00am to 12:15pm

Tue: Intro to Human Communications 12:30pm to 1:45pm

Wed: Survey of U.S History I from 5:30pm to 6:45pm

Thur: Algebra :( from 8am to 9:50am

Thur: English Composition I from 11:00am to 12:15pm

Fri: no class

I'm not jumping for joy over all my classes . Algebra sucks and 8am sucks but I do enjoy history and human comm is a hybrid class that is taught partially on-line. Take note of how I did manage to strategically place my classes so that I would not have to miss class during Dragon Con. Next semester I should be allowed to self register on-line and I will be able to register earlier so class options will hopefully be better.

I have been waiting along time to go to college so I am happy and nervous. It was for the best that I waited until now to attend college. Being a military wife and teenager mother was all I could handle at the age of 19. Maturity will be hopefully my ultimate advantage.

I feel like Willow in the opening of Season 4. Yay! School!

I'm thinking of getting a frog.......I blame Sabrina. She is always posting pics of her tree frog and now I want!

Also, frogs are Good Luck.

This is a brief Warning to Wayne don't read this post if you don't want to be tired and stressed at my list of stuff to do...............

I had an OCD breakdown yesterday and cleaned out every room and every closet in the entire house and then when I finished that I cleaned out the garage. I started at 8:30am and finished at 6pm. I was exhausted and now I want to clean out the storage room in the basement. I have been feeling stressed lately and cleaning and organizing is physically exhausting but it helps me clear my mind mentally, literally and figuratively, "NO, I literally mean literally". Sorry HIMYM flash back, anyway cleaning is my Zen but today I am tired. I think I will go buy giant plastic containers today so I can start cleaning and organizing the basement tomorrow.

Wayne now has 2 giant piles of stuff to take off in my Dad's truck. Pile number 1 goes to Goodwill and pile number 2 goes to the dump and pile number 3 is so we can have a yard sale and use the money to buy costuming supplies for DragonCon.

When I'm done with the house it should be warm enough to do yard work. Pull weeds, put out pinestraw, and then plant lots of flowers and redo my herb garden. I would also love to plant tomatoes and peppers this year.

Oh, I also plan to paint the garage and stain my front porch this spring and then I'm going to spend the summer sitting on my porch drinking beer and doing nothing.

The character of Crews is mesmerizing in his approach to solving cases and his interaction with partner Dani Reese is humorous, conflicted, and touching. Their relationship echoes the chemistry between Molder and Scully of the X-Files without the romantic chemistry. They are truly just friends and partners something I find refreshingly different from the constant will they or won't they classic television setup. The rest of the supporting cast are more than just background characters they are important to the main characters and lend depth to the stories and the relationships. If you haven't yet watched Life please add it to your weekly television viewing schedule you will not be disappointed.

I have a few other costumes to do for DragonCon but I'm going to focus on this one first. Oh and I have contacts now to wear with all my costumes. YAY!! Going to Jo-ann's for fabric this weekend.

Blind as a bat

I can no longer get around the fact that I must go to the eye doctor before the end of the week. My vision has gone from bad to worse in the last month and I am having awful headaches. I am very blind so my glasses are very expensive and I hate to spend the money but I have no choice. I'm going to get a trial pair of contacts this time. My desire to do costumes for Dragon Con has made me decide to try contacts again. If I don't wear the contacts all the time it would be nice to have them for costuming because I can usually tolerate them for at least 3 or 4 hours.

Tomorrow we are taking the kiddies to see Coraline in 3D. First Taco Mac and then the movie. Sunday is going to be a wonderful 67 degrees and I plan to be outside doing anything. I'm so excited about the warm weather the cold makes me completely miserable.

Next friday Wayne is off work, my mom is picking up kids from school and we have no errands to run all day. We'll probably go to lunch together and then to Best Buy to look at things we can't afford and then later Sweetwater and Friday the 13th with Ziggy and Meg. Dean is my favorite but I don't mind seeing a little or alot of Sammy on the big screen. I just hoping he takes his shirt off. Dean didn't remove his shirt even once during My Bloody Valentine and I was extremely disappointed. Sorry about the no shirt spoiler.

Oh I almost forgot Dollhouse premieres!! and Sarah Conner comes back! WooHoo!

I'm so tired but I can't sleep. We went to Taco Mac and I had a Sweetwater Festive Ale, a Sweetwater Hummer, and a Sweetwater Blue. Staci drove us all home. We all watched BSG, Staci and Kirk left, Wayne passed out cause he had more beer than I did and now I'm awake. I have insomnia constantly and it sucks. I have sleeping pills but damn it I hate to take them. I hate feeling dependent on them to rest but I may give in if I don't fall asleep soon.

Twitter, an energy shot, and the gym

So I was trying to figure out how to use Twitter but either I'm tired or just stupid. I can't decide if I'm suppose to use the internet or my phone or both. Oh well!

I will try and figure it out after I've had a 5 hour energy shot. I'm about to drink one of those little bottles of energy so I can go and use the new gym membership that Wayne and I just bought. Sometime coffee just doesn't get me through the day.

My motivation to exercise MONEY! I spent money so now I feel like I have to go at least a few days a week. They do have a pool so I could skip the workout get in the pool and the sauna and still not feel guilty about the money.

Today I wanted chocolate so I bought a Dark Chocolate Dove Bar with 4 squares of chocolate. Dark chocolate is suppose to be good for you in moderation and I planned to eat 1 square. Here is a quote about eating dark chocolate in moderation for health benefits.

To this quote I say BULLSHIT! Not only did 2 squares not satisfy my craving I ate the entire bar before I got home from the store and then ate 4 hershey kisses left over from Christmas when I got home. I would eat another bar if I had one. So to all the articles that proclaim you can be satisfied with 2 squares of chocolate or 1 6oz glass of red wine (also healthy) I say SCREW YOU! Pass the whole bottle of wine and an entire bag of hershey kisses.

I think I might have PMS.........must find more chocolate...........

I want a giant CHEESEBURGER! I was good today! I had a Subway with lots of veggies for lunch but if they don't stop building Backyard Burgers in every strip mall in north Georgia I might have a break down.

I almost never eat red meat . I don't like steak at all but I do love a giant juicy burger. I think I will be good the rest of the week and this weekend I will have a giant burger with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles. I'm starting to sound like a Jimmy Buffett song. Oh and I'm adding giant onion rings.

That's the plan, Cheeseburger in Paradise.

I've been so busy I've neglected lj. I have so many things to say but my thoughts don't seem to be forming coherent sentences. Just a few statements for today.

1. My shopping is almost done for the kids. Jacob will be getting the full Guitar Hero World Tour set for PS3, Sarah is getting a cell phone, Alex is getting lots of Bakugan toys, some games for the Wii and PS3. Those are the big items and then they all are getting some less expensive items.

2. Wayne and I bought a used PS2 even though we have a PS3 just so we could play all the Sing Star Games. We also picked up at least 4 of the Sing Star games. We are giving it to Sarah for Christmas but it's really a gift for Wayne. He can't wait to hook it up.

3.We went to a Wii party friday night and played this game called Rayman Raving Rabbids it was so much fun we went out and bought it the next day.

4. The cookie making starts tonight. I'm making Date Bars, Chocolate Crinkles, Chocolate chip, and Mint Sugar pinwheels that I saw on food network yesterday. Some of the cookies are for us and some are for the neighbors and some are going to work with Wayne.

5. My daughter is in a play at school called "Romeo and Winifred". It's a spoof of Romeo and Juliet and Sarah is playing Lord Capulet. That's right she's cross dressing for the school play. The drama dept. didn't have enough boys so the teacher asked for girls to play the male roles. Sarah tells the teacher my mom and dad cross dressed Xander and Anya for a BHPS so I guess my mom can help me play a guy. LOL! We're going all out with a wig and a mustache. My mom is a little weired out by it but she loves Sarah so much I know she will be there.

That's all I got for now I have to go buy cookie making ingredients, my house needs cleaning, and I have to pick up Sarah from a Christmas dance at school tonight.
